Business accounting and finance is a programme focused on the microeconomic perspective - we look at the world primarily from the viewpoint of business entities. The programme enables students to acquire knowledge of corporate-finance management, financial-, tax- and managerial accounting, liquidity and financial credibility, capital investment, IT tools used in accounting and finance, as well as corporate taxation, thereby developing the skills of recording economic events, conducting business-activity analyses, assessing the profitability of investment projects, and making optimal financial decisions. Students also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with international finance and accounting thanks to programmes accredited by international organizations.

The programme offers three specializations: Corporate finance and accountancy, Capital investment and corporate financial strategy, Accounting in the IT environment.

First-cycle graduates are prepared to work in auxiliary positions in typical enterprises, but also in services companies, accounting firms, consulting firms and financial institutions.
