Full-time engineering studies in Product quality and development provide a unique educational offer that combines the competences of a specialist in shaping and assessing product quality, product marketing and quality management.

 

The curriculum includes courses in shaping the quality of food and non-food products, product marketing, system quality management, and environmental impact assessment, with a strong emphasis on the development of engineering competences and gaining knowledge through practice thanks to numerous seminar, project and laboratory classes. The curriculum also includes internships which enable students to creatively use the acquired knowledge in the labour market. Another important goal of the internships is to gain professional experience and to gather the knowledge and material to be used when writing the diploma thesis.

 

Product quality and development students gain the knowledge and skills required to identify the needs and expectations of market participants, to shape and assess the quality of products, and to analyse the life cycle of products and technological processes related to their production, taking into account the cost of production and marketing, as well as a systemic approach to quality, environmental and product-safety management.

 

The programme offers two specializations: food product quality engineer, non-food product quality engineer.
