Major Product quality and development

Part-time Master’s degree (four-semester) studies in Product quality and development enable students to acquire unique competences in the management of products throughout their life cycle, with particular emphasis on shaping and assessing their quality, while supporting their innovation, as well as their economic, environmental and technological efficiency.
The curriculum consists of courses with practical content related to designing and managing sustainable products (including innovations); shaping the quality and safety of products at all stages of their life cycle; implementing, maintaining and improving management systems in the organization; managing the company’s product portfolio; conducting marketing research; brand, price and distribution management. Students gain knowledge about systems of environmental and health-and-safety management, ecological product assessment, quality-management methods and techniques, management-system audits, consumer behaviour, modern promotion instruments, instrumental methods of product assessment, and corporate social responsibility.
Classes are conducted by experienced research and teaching staff and business practitioners, in the form of both practical project classes and laboratory classes. Students have the opportunity to shape their learning pathway by selecting, from a pool of elective lectures, subjects tailored to their preferences and interests.
